Terms of Service

Last updated: 9 July 2026

These terms govern your use of the OpenRent AI Reply Assistant Chrome extension and related services, operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("we", "us"). By purchasing a license or using the extension you agree to them.

1. The service

The extension drafts suggested replies to tenant enquiries on OpenRent using Claude, an AI model by Anthropic. Two plans are offered:

2. AI-generated content — your responsibility

Drafts are suggestions only. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your situation. You must review every draft before sending and you are solely responsible for the messages you send, including compliance with the Renters' Rights Act 2025, the Equality Act 2010, and all other applicable law. The extension's default prompt encodes some compliance guidance, but we do not provide legal advice and do not warrant that any draft is lawful or accurate.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or revoke licenses that breach these terms.

4. Billing, cancellation, refunds

5. Third parties

We are not affiliated with OpenRent. The extension reads pages you already have open in your own browser session; if OpenRent changes its site, features may temporarily stop working and we'll aim to restore them. AI processing is provided by Anthropic; availability of the underlying model is outside our control.

6. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, the service is provided "as is"; we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or losses arising from messages you choose to send, and our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

7. Changes and termination

We may update these terms with 30 days' notice for material changes (posted here and noted in the extension listing). If you continue using the service after that, the new terms apply. We may discontinue the service with at least 60 days' notice; Managed subscribers are not billed past discontinuation.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
